FBI Academy Laboratory – Installed a criminal AFIS system with palm print matching capabilities in September of 2004 ahead of schedule.  The FBI is using the system to diagnose the relevancy of 1000ppi matching vice the standard 500ppi resolution.  This state-of-the-art AFIS system will set the standard of the new evolution of AFIS capabilities.
