Morpho’s Indian subsidiary Syscom wins award as “Best Exporter Electronic Hardware”

New Delhi, July 5, 2011

The Indian subsidiary of Morpho (Safran group), Syscom Corporation Limited, has been honored as Best Exporter in the electronic hardware sector for the year 2009-2010. This selection was made by the Noida Special Economic Zone (NSEZ), based on the outstanding export performance of the company in that period.
The award ceremony was attended by all units operating in the NSEZ.

Sanjeev Shriya, Senior Vice President Asia Pacific at Morpho, e-Documents Division and Managing Director of Syscom, said of the achievement: "We are honored to receive the NSEZ award recognizing the efforts of the whole team at Syscom. It confirms our approach to work in a customer-oriented way and efficiently and with a product portfolio that is highly in demand."

About NSEZ
The Noida Special Economic Zone (NSEZ) set up in 1985 is spread over 310 acres of land. It provides excellent infrastructure, support services and sector-specific facilities for the thrust areas of exports, like gems and jewellery and electronics/software. The NSEZ has maintained high export growth rates for the past several years. Exports increased from Rs. 42660 million in 2004-05 to Rs. 163080 million during 2008-09. Employment in the zone grew from 16284 in December, 2001, to 32550 in June, 2009. During the same period, the number of operational units in the zone increased from 141 to 245.
