Morpho enables operators to monitor real customer experience and performance in LTE networks

Morpho (Safran) and its technology partner Wadaro today announced that they have developed a unique solution to monitor Long Term Evolution network performance.
While existing performance monitoring solutions are based on network samples and hence do not fully represent the performance of the entire network, Morpho's and Wadaro's solution collects crowd-sourced data and thus accurately reflects real customer experience and actual performance, continuously and across entire LTE networks.
Using the unique and secure characteristics of SIM technology, it delivers data on network performance, coverage and quality of service, handovers to and from other mobile networks as well as mobile device performance and behavior.

Currently the network performance monitoring solution is delivering network KPIs in numerous commercial trials with a range of MNOs around the world.
Long Term Evolution, the latest standard for wireless communications, promises to deliver higher network capacity and to be much faster than its predecessors. According to a study from ABI research, the worldwide data traffic via LTE is expected to grow by 207% in 2013.
