On September 8, 2009, the Safran Group, through its subsidiary Morpho, acquired a majority share (81%) of GE Homeland Protection (now Morpho Detection) capital, and its range of detection and identification products.
This acquisition has made Morpho one of the largest global airport security players.

By allying the detection capacities of GE Homeland Protection with Morpho identity solutions, the Safran Group will be able to provide its customers with a unique, comprehensive and integrated offer.
