Morpho at SIMposium Global in Amsterdam: new opportunities in mobile security

Morpho (Safran) invites its visitors at SIMposium Global in Amsterdam (June 25 to 26) to explore new opportunities that the secure element opens up in a connected world.

"Near Field Communication, Long Term Evolution, the role of the SIM in cloud services, mobile transactions and m-commerce are going to be hot topics this year in Amsterdam," said Yves Portalier, Senior Vice President Telecoms at Morpho.
Especially recommended is the presentation to be given by Jean-Christophe Tisseuil, Vice President Strategy Telecoms at Morpho, entitled "The role of the eUICC[1] in the automotive world." He will explain the scope and the main challenges of the subscription management proof of concept and share key outcomes and other interesting facets (June 25, 4:40 pm).

Another highlight will be the panel discussion on June 25 at 5:20 pm on new business models enabled by connected devices, where, amongst others, Heiko Kruse, Head of Technology & Expertise at Morpho and Chairman of SIM & USIM Group at 3GPP, will discuss topics such as the new markets for connected applications and consumers and whether different levels of protection and security will be needed.
